THIS IS AN ORIGINAL JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT - NOT A REPRODUCTION OF A WOODBLOCK PRINT. THIS 1952 PRINT BY BAKUFU OHNO, 1888-1976, IS ONE OF A NUMBER OF PRINTS HE MADE DEPICTING JAPANESE FLOWER ARRANGEMENTS. BESIDES THE COLORFUL PLANTS, OHNO DEPICTS INTERESTING CONTAINERS AND ACCESSORIES AS ARE COMMONLY EMPLOYED IN TRADITIONAL JAPANESE FLOWER ARRANGING. THE PRINT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND IS SIGNED BY OHNO IN THREE WAYS, AS ILLUSTRATED. THE CARVER'S AND PRINTER'S NAMES ARE ALSO STAMPED IN THE MARGIN. THERE IS GOOD BLEEDTHROUGH ON THE REAR, AS SHOWN. THE IMAGE SIZE IS 15 3/8" x 10 1/2". THE PAPER SIZE IS 16" x 11".
