This is a beautiful woodblock print by noted bijin-ga hanga printmaker Kajiwara Hisako, unusual among bijin-ga printmakers in that she is a woman. It measures about 14.5 x 10.25" image size plus margins. Signed and sealed in the image. Very nice color, impression and condition. Minor archival tape verso (the black parts that you see on the design are actually not the tape; they are inked areas from the printmaking process; the tape is white).
Impression Excellent - very good.
Colors Excellent … brass colored metallic pigment on the background, parts of hair ornament and kimono.
Condition Very good … Slightly creased. Slight foxing on the margins.
