Kuchi-e: Bijin with Umbrellas

Artist: Tomioka Eisen
Format: Aiban yoko-e: 9" x 11" approx

Subject: A young girl under an umbrella, pausing to speak to an unseen friend.

Date: c.1900

Condition: Full size. Two vertical folds and other creases. Minor stains, soils, marks and flaws. Generally fair state.

Colour: Fine

Impression: Fine with lacquer on the girl's hair
