the 2nd from the collection is a very nice woodblock by kazuma oda that is relatively scarce.. It is the great bridge at matsue,, excellent condition..chuban size and great colors with exceptional bleedthrough on the back.. All the prints from this collection were never framed and some on the original paper..this is a very nice print..

Series na Publisher na Seal, Carver/Printer na Image Size 9 1/4 x 14 1/4 Impression Very Fine. Skillfully executed "bokashi" shading; deep, heavy "gauffrage" to snow-covered mountains (see last image); crisply detailed lines. Condition Excellent. Excellent colors; clean backside; full margins. (No condition problems--flawless.) Reference/Illus "The New Wave" pl# 141; Blair "1930 Toledo Exhibition" #167. Comments Beautiful wintertime snowscene with deep "gauffage."
