Vintage Signed Japanese Color Woodblock Print of "YOMEIMON GATE IN NIKKO."

This auction is for a framed early to mid-20th century vintage Japanese woodblock print. It is signed but anascribed by us, and titled "YOMEIMON GATE IN NIKKO." Measures about 9 1/4 x 11 1/4 inches. The print looks very good from the front, with only a few tiny spots of toning or stain within the image, visible only upon close inspection. It exhibits excellent color, and the streaks of rain add a nice effect. The margins look good, as well, with some acid browning on the extreme edges from contact with the frame. The back of the print shows the amount of bleed-through, and it also shows that there is noticeable toning from an acidic backing cardboard. The frame is a simple pine molding with some dents and dings.
You are bidding on a Japanese woodblock print “Yomeimon Gate in Nikko”. I don't know the artist of this woodblock print. The print size is 11 1/2 inch x 9 1/4 inches. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers. The chop stamp of the artist’s signature is at the lower left corner of the print. In the bottom border, the writing says “Yomeimon Gate in Nikko” both in English and Japanese. This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and ink bleeds through the back of print can be seen. Except a couple of minor wrinkles and stains in the upper left corner in the border, which does not affect the image of the print at all, this woodblock print is in excellent condition. ?????
