A group of Kyoto artists headed by Matsumoto Eikyu had a large project to revitalize the traditional "Yamato-e" (Japanese style painting) to more popular forms. Their prints were published by Shin Yamato-e Mokuhanga Kanko-kai in 1930s. Width Item 15.9 inches = 40.5 cm Height Item 11.4 inches = 29.0 cm

Colors Very good ... Gold colored metallic pigment.
Condition Good ... Paper toned. Margin creased at the upper right corner. A missing area in the upper margin (0,5 cm = 0,2 inch).

Description The divers and the rough sea at the Shionomisaki. This is one of Koga's prints for Matsuoka Eikyu's project to revitalize the traditional Yamato-e to more popular forms. Their prints were published by Shin Yamato-e Mokuhanga Kanko-kai.
