Notes (this edition) These notes were written by the original owner/seller/auctioner of the item and may be inaccurate.: | The artist is Kaoro Kaoru Kawano as signed. Visible image is about 23" by 12". Confirmed L.E.! In a frame, that I have not opened, that measures about 29" by 18". Great color. Heavy use of Mica. Hard to find numbered limited edition. Frame is really nice. Geisha or Maiko is a dancing figure.

Japanese woodblock print by Kawano Kaoru, oversize (22 x 11 ˝ plus large margins), pencil signed and numbered. This is one of Kawano’s rare self-printed oversize editions, titled “Dancing Figure (Eshima)”. It dates from the early 1960s. Excellent color, impression and condition. Don't confuse this with the oban size version; this one is much larger, and of significantly higher quality in terms of printing and image.
