Friday, 10 April 2009 This listing is for a woodblock print by Kawase Hasui from 1938 entitled "After the Rain at Sanno". The print was purchased from Joan B. Mirviss Ltd. (New York) in 2006, and is accompanied by the invoice from that purchase and a letter of authenticity. It was originally part of the Robert O. Muller collection (stated on the letter). The print is plate 427 in the Kawase Hasui collected works. There are no condition issues with the print, and it is framed using acid-free conservation materials behind UV-resistant plexiglas. |
