Guaranteed original Japanese woodblock print by the shin hanga school artist Ohara Koson. Subject: Fishing Boats. Date: early 1900's. Fine color, impression, condition. Faint bends in lower margin corners. Doesn't effect image. Oban format print measures 10" x 14.75". NOTE: A rare print. There is a similar chuban format design in the Koson text "Crows, Cranes & Camellias". This larger design is, as of yet, undocumented.
There is only one edition of this woodblock, if you don't get it from me you won't find one. It is in pristine condition and measures 10 by 15 inches. Lovely dark night with a touch of green in the sky. Unframed. Dates from the late 1930's early 1940.
