 This is a genuine original Horizontal tanzaku size Japanese woodblock print by Takahashi Shotei (1871-1945) also known as Hiroaki or Komei. The print is tipped to its presentation card. I believe that this print was published by Watanabe Shozaburo, but it does not bear any publishers seal. It is sealed "Komei" by the artist. The print is in fine condition. Fine impression, color, and excellent registration. No foxing, toning, folds or creases. The print is not trimmed or setdown. It does have very thing margins which is the normal condition of this type of print. Print size is x 6.5" x 14.75".
