This print is authentic, not restrike or reproduction. I guarantee it. This is a genuine original Japanese woodblock print by great shin-hanga artist Shintaro Takeda (1886-1957) titled "A Night Fishing ". This print is probably the most famous from Shintaro Takeda works, published by Unsodo. The print is not trimmed, has full margins. Great impression, good color and registration. Sealed by artist in the image and titled in kanji at the left margin, undated but printed no later than 1957. Oban size 15 3/4" x 10 3/4". |
