	Artist Bio:	竹久夢二　たけひさ・ゆめじ明治17年～昭和９年（1884-1934） 明治から昭和にかけての画家、詩人、デザイナー。岡山県生まれ。本名は茂次郎。荒畑寒村の推薦で平民社機関紙『直言』に挿絵を描いたのをはじめ、『中学世界』や『平民新聞』などに挿絵や詩をかく。さみせんぐさの名で「宵待草」の原詩を発表した。藤島武二のモダンな装飾性と鏑木清方の美人画から影響を受けた夢二の美人画は、挿絵ばかりではなく絵葉書、封筒、半えりのデザインにもされた。『夢二画集』や詩集『どんたく』などの詩、画集,詩画集などが50種ほど出版された。女性遍歴の愛欲生活のなかで憂愁な女性像を描く一方で、社会底辺の女性や女性問題などもリベラルにみていた。関東大震災時には、「震災スケッチ」を残してもいる。岡山市と群馬県伊香保の地に各々夢二の美術館がある。
