Note that there may be some inaccuracies: Woodcut KAORU KAWANO, signed in pencil JAPAN 1916-65 the piece I am selling is from a Estate in Woodstock, NY. The bottom picture shows the back of the woodcut and the name of the gallery where the piece was first purchased. The artist signature is in pencil on the lower right. May be hard to see agianst the black background. It has a red stamp and measures 11" x 16.5". It is in very good condition.
	Artist Bio:	Kaoru Kawano was a very popular artist for his distinctively styled depictions of figures, especially children. He uses the wood grain patterns to lender the textures and the mood to the works.
