きわめて綺麗で状態良好です（極美品）。現在、絶版もしくは版元品切れ。定価8万円。
岩田専太郎の美人画集。本書はその特装300部本。それぞれ、専用のたとうに収められた美しいオリジナル木版画2点付。
木版画のタイトルは「色は匂へと」「春宵」。シートサイズは29*41㎝と堂々としたもの。各作品に落款入。どちらもシミひとつない極美品。
37度摺りという気の遠くなるような手の込んだ摺りを施した極めて上質な木版画2点です。限定番号も6番と若く、摺りの良さがここにも発揮されているものと推認されます。岩田専太郎美人画の粋をご堪能ください。

岩田専太郎 いわた-せんたろう
1901－1974 大正-昭和時代の挿絵画家。
明治34年6月8日生まれ。伊東深水にまなび、20歳のとき博文館の「講談雑誌」に挿絵をかく。
大正15年から「大阪毎日新聞」連載の吉川英治「鳴門秘帖(なるとひちょう)」の挿絵が評判をよび、
モダン浮世絵とよばれる美人画はその後幅ひろい支持をえた。
挿絵はほかに大仏(おさらぎ)次郎「赤穂(あこう)浪士」、川口松太郎「蛇姫様」などがある。
昭和49年2月19日死去。72歳。東京出身。
画集に「三百年のおんな」、随筆に「女・おんな・女」「わが半生記」など。 |
