Description "Nishiki-e Josho" ("Romantic Nishiki-e"). A girl holding a "oiran" doll. Two prints by Hokusai, one of the 36 Views of Mt. Fuji and the famous "Aka-fuji, were seen on the sliding door in the background.
Junichi Nakahara is widely regarded as the inventor of the wide eyed manga-look.
Dated Ca. 1930's.
