	Notes (first edition)?:	This serene, evocative watercolor is by K. Mori, an early 20th century Japanese watercolor artist trained in the Western technique. It is signed “K.Mori” . I believe that it is Kinseki Mori (1843-1921) because the style and the signature look like his. If this is the original frame, it looks from around the 1890s or 1900s – Art Noveau, and that correlates well with his time as a painter. The painting measures 19.5 in x 12.5 in (22in x 15 in framed.) The colors are still rich and warm; I cannot detect any fading. There are a few faint waterstains that I have shown as accurately as possible in my images.
