Up for auction is this interesting Japanese woodblock print. I am not sure of the artist I could not find him in my database. It has the Watanabe seal. It is Oban in size at about 14 1/2 inches by 10 1/2 inches. The image is fair with some fading, some moderate to heavy abrasions, some moderate crinkling on the corners, and some foxing.

Furuya Taikenn “古屋台軒” dated in August of Taisho 10th year 1921.

Impression Very good.
Colors Good.
Condition Good … Light toning. Light foxing. A diagonal crease from the middle left edge to the upper right edge. Thin areas, missing areas and paper cracks were repaired by a backing paper.
