	Artist Bio:	横尾芳月。 日本画家。博多生。名は徳次郎。はじめ西村草文に四条派を学び、上京して池田輝方に美人画を、のち蔦谷龍岬に大和絵を学ぶ。龍岬歿後、伊東深水に師事し、深水塾と山川秀峰塾による青衿会の結成に参加、さらに青衿会と児玉希望の国風会による日月社の結成に参加し、ともに委員をつとめた。以後千葉県を中心に活躍。帝展・新文展・日展・新日展入選。千葉市教育功労賞受賞。千虹会代表。平成２年（1990）歿、91才。
