Seal kanji may be "武" (bushi no BU)
A wonderful moonlit Surreal woodcut of a single figure walking along a village road lit by house lights
Signed in Japanese left margin this work is also signed with japanese symbols upper right in black and gold
Artist unknown but from a good print collection I acquired recently
Sheet has almost a glazed feel to verso with rich brown staining
On front border also a brown stain consisten with verso
1 inch by 1/8 inch piece out along top border with old tape marking sto upper verso
Sheet is quite fine paper measuring 15 1/2" by 10 1/2"
No foxing or holes and no visible marks to the image |
