Triptych: Todai Moon

Artist: Kunichika
Format: Oban triptych: each sheet 14" x 9.5" approx

Subject: Bijin and a child among flowering sedges under a misty full moon in Ueno Park, Tokyo.

Date: 1880

Condition: A little trimmed. Retains Japanese album backing paper (uniting left and centre sheets). Minor offsets, marks and flaws. Generally good state.

Colour: Fine

Impression: Fine impression with intricate gauffrage.
