Description "Wannsee, Germany" from the series "Landscapes and Customs of the World". Wannsee is a plush, old resort area for Berliners. It was also the place of the infamous Wannsee Conference in which the "Final Solution to the Jewish Question in Europe" was discussed by the Nazi senior officials.
