Kyoto Hanga in woodblock print Bridge to Heaven
Kyoto Hanga in japanese woodblock print about 16 by 12 inches fair condition top left corner has about 1/16 inch missing from the border and a small rip or 1/8 th inch again in the border and has some foxing as shown the print , the matting is in poor condition with waterstaining this is not evident on the print. When removed from the mat and sympathetically framed will look pretty good. If you need more info google kyoto hanga in and there will be several galeries covering these prints and if you have the time and inclination you can identify the artist there is a pencil annotation on the mat for this stating it is titled bridge to heaven north of kyoto. |
