The watercolour is signed "T Rubayu-shin", an unidentified Japanese artist.

Age:
The watercolour is from the early 20 th century.

Medium:
Watercolour on paper

Size without frame:
The picture is 44 cm / 17 inches high and 61 cm / 24 inches wide.
The frame itself is 2 cm / 1 inch wide.

Description:
It is not that often we at Gallery Duval can offer you a Japanese artist, but this lot is just that. It features a river landscape with picturesque white flowers. On the opposite bank is a small house and the light setting suggests it is a msty morning. The green passepartout and the gilt frame is a perfect match to the subdued colours.

Condition:
The watercolour is in a very good condition with little yellowing and fowing of the paper. The frame is a beautiful gilt frame in a very good condition with only insignificant small scratches. It is newer than the painting
