JAPANESE ORIGINAL WATERCOLOUR

KIWASAKI circa 1890-1910

This watercolour is an original painting by a Japanese artist signed Kiwasaki of a tranquil river in Japan with two local fishermen making ready for there fishing trip.

The watercolour was bought along with another few which are all unframed, from one of England`s major auction rooms and I was told that they came from a draw in a chest from a deceased estate in the Midlands.

The condition is first class with no staining or colour deterioration, it is unframed on its original back board and is a good size.

When framed and mounted this will be a very impressive watercolour for all collectors of Japanese items.

Size..,. 13.5 inches x 20.5 inches.
