The following information was taken from the original web listing of this artwork. Note that there may be some inaccuracies:

This is an original watercolour painting, of the finest quality, by Terauchi (Meiji Period, Japan). I have had this confirmed by expert, specialist opinion and I will gladly give details of this. The painting measures 20" by 13" and is in excellent condition. It was professionally framed immediately after purchase by my family in the 1930s. The signature of the artist, Terauchi, is painted in blue at the lower left corner.
The painting is of a beautiful scene of a bamboo forest, the centre of which is bathed in soft, golden sunlight, filtering through the trees. The painting technique is delicately and finely executed and with great attention to detail.

I have now taken the painting out of its frame (for the first time since the 1930s) and find it is lightly taped, at the top and bottom, to the back of the mount (please see picture). There is written in pencil "5.00" on the back. I would ship the painting either still attached to the mount, or without the mount, according to the buyer's preference.

Artist Bio:
Prolific watercolour artist whose works are often mis-attributed to the more famous Terauchi Manjiro. See my research note on this artist here
