Note that there may be some inaccuracies: I am offering here an exquisite and scenic mid-century painting by the renowned Japanese watercolorist S. Tosuke (20th). This work is a watercolor on paper, measures 13" x 9 1/2" and is in excellent condition. It is a gorgeous landscape with the beloved Mt. Fuji in the foreground, is signed lower left and is housed in a fine silver frame. Judging from the age of the paper and the backing board, this piece is from the 40's-50's, possibly earlier. Tosuke is listed in the Davenport and has very favorable auction records, in the hundreds of dollars, yet our reserve is most reasonble for such a fine work.
