This is a beautiful original watercolor by noted Japanese artist Y. Matsumoto, who is well listed in all of the books on 20th century Japanese painting. The subject is a snow-capped Mt. Fuji. The color and clarity of the image are wonderful; there is some faint toning to the paper, most noticeable at the extreme outer edges. Brush signed in red lower right. Measures about 13 x 9.
