Pillar Print: The Vain Bijin

Format: Hashira-e (Pillar Print): 22" x 4.25" approx

Subject: A young man leaning over a bijin who is admiring her reflection in a hand-mirror. A rare design. Not in Pins.

Date: c1800

Condition: Full size. Japannese backing paper. Some creases and minor damages (repaired). Paper toned. Minor marks and flaws. Generally fair state.

Colour: Faded.

Impression: Very good.
