You are bidding on a Japanese woodblock print “The Sumiyoshi Takadoro” which is the 11th of the Series “Thirty-six Views of Osaka” signed by the famous early Showa artist Rasaku Akamatsu (1898-1953). This woodblock print comes with a small pamphlet that says “An old light-house, called Takadoro, which used to guide navigators of the past, stands at the western end of the park, now destroyed. Number 11 The Sumiyoshi Takadoro.”
