The following information was taken from the original web listing of this artwork. Note that there may be some inaccuracies:
Kawano Kaoru (Japanese 1916-1965) ... 14 3/4 x 9 1/2 inches (approx. image) color woodbock print with full margins (3 with nice deckled edges) ... Title unknown (Young Girl) ... Date: Circa 1950s? ... Signed with red seal AND "pencil- signed" by artist lower left ... There is a pencil notation lower right "good"? ... Numbered on reverse #22 ... Condition: Excellent. Lots of WOOD GRAIN! No rips, tears or scratches to image or paper. Image is exceptionally clean and bright. (Lightness at top in photo is not there in original. Color is strong and even throught entire image.) Indentation at top left edge is "original" to paper irregularity & deckling. This is not a rip or tear! Very slight mat staining (not noticeable)...This is a very GOOD LOOKING modern Kawano print…
