Offered is this original, vintage woodblock print, Temple Roof by Japanese master craftsman Junichiro Sekino (1914-1992). He is recognized as one of the great Japanese printmakers of this century and was one of the leading figures of the Sosaku Hanga movement. Of all his images this is one of his best. With rich and subtle color, it is beautifully printed, signed in white ink and has a red chop mark. This print has been rolled up and hasn't seen the light of day since it was purchased. The print is in excellent condition and in a roll, it is not framed or matted. Including borders, the print measures about 21.5" long and 16.5 high. The image area measures about 18" long and 12.5" high.
