Original wood block print in colors, executed by Japanese artist Toshi Yoshida (1911 - 1995) signed in in Japanese in the block lower right, the artist's seal next to it, again signed in Japanese in pencil, lower right margin. Framed in its original publisher's frame.
Measurements: Image: 19 -3/4 by 11 - 7/8 inches. Paper sight: 20 -1/4 by 18 -7/8 inches. Frame: 20 -1/4 by 12 - 1/4 inches.
Condition: Excellent.

Toshi Yoshida was the eldest son of Hiroshi Yoshida.
Like his father he undertook extensive travels all over the world. His trips took him to the U.S.A., Canada, India,
Africa, Australia and even to Antarctica. Most of his print subjects are focused on landscapes or animals depicted in a realistic style.
After the death of his father Hiroshi Yoshida, he even experimented in abstract art for a while but returned to realistic landscape prints.
