Note that there may be some inaccuracies: THIS IS A GENUINE WOODBLOCK PRINT - NOT A REPRODUCTION. THE ARTIST IS FUJITA FUMIO WHO WAS BORN IN 1933. HE INITIALLY WAS AN OIL PAINTER BUT TOOK UP WOODBLOCK PRINTING IN 1963. HE IS KNOWN FOR HIS SERIES OF PRINTS FEATURING WHITE-BARKED OF TREES, OF WHICH THIS PRINT IS AN EXAMPLE. THE PRINT SIGHT-SIZE IS 15" x 20 1/2" AND THE PAPER SIZE IS 18" x 23". IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION EXCEPT FOR VERY SLIGHT FOX MARKS HERE AND THERE, SEE THE SECOND PHOTO. THE PRINT IS SIGNED IN PENCIL BY THE ARTIST, DATED 1976 AND NUMBERED 53/200. IT COMES FROM THE ESTATE OF FRANCES BLAKEMORE - THE AUTHOR OF "WHO'S WHO IN MODERN JAPANESE PRINTS".
