This is a genuine modern sosaku hanga Japanese woodblock print by Fumio Kitaoka(Born 1918). The print is pencil signed by the artist, dated 1970, titled in English and kanji "Yuzen Nagashi" or "Silk Dyeing" and the edition is 14/75. The print is very important Kitaoka print and is in fine condition. It is featured in the Sothebys "Roy G. Cole Collection of Sosaku Hanga" auction June 19, 1990 as lot number 34. No foxing, toning, folds or creases. The print is not setdown or trimmed. Fine impression, color and impression. A barely visible mat line in the margins, and a few printers creases in the margins, neither of which detract from the image. Image size is 15.5" x 21", paper size is 18.5" x 24".
