THIS FRAMED JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT IS FROM THE 1950'S. THE SCENE SHOWS CHILDREN USING LARGE LEAVES FOR HAT AS THEY PLAY IN THE RAIN. SIGNED BY THE ARTIST TOP RIGHT , ALSO BEARS THE ARTIST RED HON SEAL. FRAMED UNDER GLASS, MEASURES;15.5" X 10.5" THE PRINT IS FREE FLOATING NOT MOUNTED. OVER ALL IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.WHAT MAY APPEAR AS STAINING IN THE FIELD OF THE PRINT IS ACTUALLY PUDDLES OF WATER FROM THE RAIN.
