Note that there may be some inaccuracies: This is a genuine original Japanese sosaku hanga limited edition mezzotint by Koichi Sakamoto (Born 1932). Sakamoto's work is similiar to the famous contemporary Japanese woodblock print artist Kiyoshi Saito. The print has more green in the snow than is visible in the photos. The photos do not do justice to this very quiet peaceful print. The print is pencil signed by the artist at the lower right corner below the image, titled in kanji, and edition is 17/50. The print is in very good condition. No foxing , toning, folds or creases. The print is not setdown or trimmed. There is a small strip of mounting tape still attached to the top center verso edge, and there is a barely preceptable matburn shadow where the mat paper came into contact with the paper ont the print. Neither of these issues affect the image which is pristine, Image size is 8" x 12", paper size is 14" x 21".
