A guaranteed genuine original Japanese woodblock print showing a scene from the kabuki play Keisei Ishikawa Zome, in which the actor Arashi Tokusaburo as Horio Tatewaki, is fighting the actor Onoe Tamizo II as Ishikawa Goemon. Printed in the 1st month of 1866. The artist is Hironobu, an Osaka artist. Excellent color, fine early impression with metallic pigments, untrimmed, unbacked, surface dirt.
Dimensions: 14.3" X 9.9" (chuban diptych).
