Artist: Nobukazu
Format: Oban Triptych: each sheet 14" x 9" approx.

Subject: The assult on October 26th 1894 with the Japanese troops surprising the Chinese from the swirling banks of morning mist.

Publisher: Tsujioka Bunsuke

Date: 1895

Condition: Fine colors. Japanese album backing paper. Light trimming. Minor marks and flaws. Generally fine state of preservation.

Impression: Fine early impression with gauffrage and lacquer and strong woodgrain visible in the background.

Artist Bio: 

楊斎延一 。 (ようさい のぶかず、 明治5年(1872年) - 昭和19年(1944年))は、明治時代の浮世絵師。 来歴楊洲周延の 門人。姓は渡辺、後に島田、名は次郎。
