The Salt Water Maidens

Artist: Eizan (Unsigned)
Format: Oban yoko-e: 10.5" x 14.75"

Subject: In the foreground two salt water maidens, behind them a view of the sea with junks returning from the nights fishing against the sunset.

Date: c. 1815

Condition: Very good colors. Full size. Minor expertly repaired wormage, soils, marks and flaws. Generally very good state of preservation.

Impression: Fine impression with gauffrage on the sea.
