Subject: In the depths of winter two ferries at Yoroi under a heavy fall of snow. One of the great snow masterpieces by Hiroshige II. An unidentified collectors seal bottom right corner on verso.
Publisher: Aeto
Date: c. 1860's
Condition: Very fine colors. Full size with large margins. An unobtrusive horizontal fold mark. Minor creases, marks and soils. Generally very good state of preservation.
Impression: Very fine impression of the first edition. Later impressions used crude aniline dyes, this example has beautifully graded vegetable dyes.
