This is a very nice Japanese woodblock print signed in pencil “U. Azechi” with the artists red circular seal. On the bottom left margin there is also an impression “Printer M. Yoneda”(could also be Yeneda) followed by an impressed seal; I was unable to capture this in a photo. Azechi Umetaro born in 1902 has a fascination with mountains and mountain scenes, and this print is reflective of that interest. The print measures approximately 9 ½” by 12 ½” and is in good condition with only some tape residue on a couple of corners; there is some fading except where the edge of the print was behind matting.
