This kind of print might be considered a typical example of Eisen's beauty prints. Reflecting the corrupt conditions of the day at the end of the Edo period, her sidelong glance, tilted neck, and provocative pose are typical of Eisen's images of women, drawn solely from the women of the pleasure quarters with their street-wise ways of the world.
