Description Colorful peonies. Konan was famous for his elegant depiction of flowers and exotic plants printed in rich colors and subtle gradations. His flower album is in the collection of The British Library.

Although much of Konan TANIGAMI's biography has been unknown, he produced many excellent flower-plant themed prints before W.W.II. The most of his works were printed in exquisite colors by the publisher Unsodo.
