Notes (this edition)
These notes were written by the original owner/seller/auctioner of the item and may be inaccurate.:
Dated 1901, this original Woodblock Print is signed in the lower right hand corner. We have not been able to decipher this artist’s name. This woodblock measures 7 ½ inches by 14 ¼ inches and depicts a Japanese lady admiring a Willow Tree. The glass is missing from the 16 ½ by 23 ¼ inch original wood frame. The wide matte is also original; however, there is a water stain on the right hand side. This early 20th century matte should be replaced anyway. Apart from slight toning to the back of the sheet, in remarkable condition.
