Yozakura (Night Cherry Blossom Viewing) - Wonderful shin-hanga scene of beauties enjoying a stroll to view cherry blossoms at night, a custom known as "yozakura." They walk along beneath a full moon, one carrying a glowing orange lantern. Lights dot the fence enclosing flowering cherry trees at right. Beautiful bokashi shading and wood grain impression in the background. A lovely design by this rarely seen artist.

Artist - Kako Morita (1870 - 1931)

Image Size - 10" x 4 7/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight toning, light crease. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
Signature: Kako.

Seal: Artist's red seal.

Dated: Ca. 1910.
