I was surpised to find that this was by Shiro. Measures 6 3/4 by 14 3/4 inches. from the Robert O. Muller collection. Up for auction is an original antique Japanese woodblock print by artist Shiro Kasamatsu, dating from the 1920's(?). Titled "Bird and Flower". Marked with the artist mark in the lower corner. Great image with awesome detail. Overall condition is very nice for its age. Appears it has has the borders trimmed. Has one tiny edge tear on the left side measuring about 1/8", no other tears, no folds, no creases, no repairs, color is nice, no holes and no water damage. Has old tape from framing along the back edges. Measures approx. 6 3/8" by 14 1/8". Rare woodblock print and is a must for any collector. Found safely stored away for years at a recent 90 year estate.
