Japanese Watercolor Lake Schuzensi (Chuzenji) by Masamitsu
Beautiful Japanese watercolor on paper titled “On the Shores of Lake Schuzensi” sic by Japanese artist T. Masamitsu. Circa 1st half 20th Century. Depicts a lone stroller on the shoreline of Lake Chuzenji watching small boats sailing on the lake. Signed lower right in red. Old label verso with title and artist listed. Measures 20in x 13.5in. Condition: Evidence of some very light water damage to lower most edge visible on the back side but does not bleed through to the artwork. Otherwise excellent vintage condition. |
