| Up for auction is an original vintage watercolor painting of a harbor scene with boats in Japan and dates from the 1920's to 1930's. Signed H. Kato in the lower corner and is in its original frame under glass. Detail and color is awesome. Has the original gallery tag on the back. In overall excellent condition. Frame has no wear, no creases, no folds, no water damage, no tears and no foxing. Measures approx. 10 9/16" wide by 8 7/16" tall. Rare painting and is a must for any collector. Found safely stored away for years at a recent 90 year estate. Please check my other auctions for other antique and vintage original Japanese paintings and woodblock prints from the same estate. The glare spots are from the lights reflection and NOT on the actual surface of the item. |
