Thanks for your time. This auction is for a Christmas card woodblock print, pencil signed by KAWANO, Kaoru (1916-1965) with an impressed seal. Frame approx. 12.75" X 8.75", sight size approx. 7.25" X 4", unfolded approx. 7.25" X 8". The large file pictures are considered part of the description, and they provide a good condition report.

Kaoru Kawano was a very popular artist for his distinctively styled depictions of figures, especially children. He uses the wood grain patterns to lender the textures and the mood to the works.
