Note that there may be some inaccuracies: This is a genuine original sosaku hanga Japanese woodblock print by Tadashi Nakayama (Born 1927). The print is pencil signed by the artist and dated 1957. There is extensive use of metallic pigment in the image. The print is in very good condition. Strong impression, excellent color, good registration and bleedthrough. No foxing, toning, folds or creases. The print is not trimmed or setdown. There is a very faint matline approximately 1/2" away from the margin, which does not affect the image. The print has not been cleaned or washed. The photos show the paper much whiter than the actual shade, which is a mellow off-white shade. Print size is 19.5" x 27.5".
